SGU Faculty Development: 3D Basics

Project:

I designed a series of Cinema 4D courses to teach to my coworkers at the Center for Biomedical Visualization as a way to practice my teaching and leadership skills. These courses were broken up into multiple classes where I presented live demonstrations to my team. The presentations focused on the basics of 3D visualization in Cinema 4D and Zbrush.

Course 1

The first course introduced polygon modeling, deformers, C4D materials, basic rigging, and rendering. These skills were used to construct and render a hemostat surgical model.

Course 2

The 2nd course focused on the workflow of taking a high poly sculpt from zbrush and optimizing it for rendering in Cinema 4D.
